BBN AIRLINES INDONESIA TRANSPORTS HUMANITARIAN AID TO VANUATU
January 10, 2025

BBN Airlines Indonesia recently assisted in a humanitarian mission to Vanuatu, a South Pacific Ocean nation.

The Indonesian carrier specialising in ACMI (aircraft, crew, maintenance, and insurance), air charter flights, and air freight services, noted that on December 27, 2024, in partnership with the National Disaster Management Authority (BNPB), its cargo team together with partners embarked on a critical mission to deliver essential aid to the disaster-affected regions of Vanuatu.

BBN Airlines Indonesia — a subsidiary of Avia Solutions Group, the world’s largest ACMI (aircraft, crew, maintenance, and insurance) provider, operating a fleet of 221 passenger and cargo aircraft worldwide — said this mission marks the third instance where it has been entrusted by BNPB to contribute to such efforts.

The flight utilized a Boeing 737-800F aircraft, and the team transported 21 tons of crucial supplies.

"We are honoured to partner with BNPB and leverage our resources for such a significant cause. This mission is a testament to our team's dedication and professionalism, emphasizing our role not just as an airline but as a reliable partner in humanitarian efforts. Our ability to respond swiftly and efficiently in times of need highlights our commitment to service excellence and social responsibility," said Martynas Grigas, chairman of BBN Airlines Indonesia.
