Bulgaria-based Cargo Air and Colombia-based Lineas Aereas Suramericanas Cargo have each orders two 737-800BCFs, while Air Algérie has signed a commitment for two 737-800BCFs. An unidentified customer has ordered four 767BCFs.

“We have received very positive response from the market for Boeing’s 737-800 and 767 freighter conversion programmes,” said Rick Anderson, vice president of sales and marketing at Boeing Commercial Aviation Services. “As our customers expand their freighter services and seek to improve fleet efficiencies, they are coming to Boeing for their freighter needs because of the quality and value we provide.”

Boeing has now received firm orders for 22 767BCFs and up to 59 orders and commitments for the 737-800BCF, which it launched in February 2016.

The first 737-800BCF is scheduled to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2017, according to Boeing.
