United Airlines has launched its non-stop flight from San Francisco to Hangzhou.

“The Hangzhou service is a great addition to our growing portfolio of mainland China destinations, including three interior cities that no other airline serves from the United States,” said Marcel Fuchs, vice president of Atlantic and Pacific sales at United.

The flight is operated three times a week with a Boeing 787-9.

Hangzhou is the airline’s fifth destination in mainland China, after Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu and Xi’an. It is also United’s 14th Asia-Pacific destination from its trans-Pacific hub in San Francisco.
