deugro has named Steffen Behrens as the newly appointed Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of deugro, effective immediately. 

Behrens has been with deugro since 2017 and has played a pivotal role in leading and developing the Middle East region from his base in Dubai.

In the announcement, deurgo noted that with over 20 years of experience in the project logistics industry, Behrens has held various roles in the U.A.E., China, and Germany within deugro and other companies.

In 2022, he was promoted to deugro's President - Middle East.

"During a transitionary phase, [Behrens] will continue to serve as both COO and President - Middle East until his sole CCO duties become fully effective September 1," deugro said.

"We are confident that [Behrens]' expertise and vision will drive the deugro group to new heights," it added.

Behrens, for his part, said he is "deeply committed to driving our group forward and continuing our global development to further strengthen our position in the industry."
