G6 UPDATES ASIA-US WEST COAST SERVICE

The G6 Alliance, consisting of APL, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Nippon Yusen Kaisha and Orient Overseas Container Line, will combine the CC1 and CC2 services until further notice.
The merged service will have a port rotation of: Qingdao – Ningbo – Shanghai (Waigaoqiao) – Kwangyang – Busan – Los Angeles/Long Beach – Oakland – Busan – Qingdao.
The first eastbound sailing will be operated by the OOCL Utah, scheduled to arrive at Qingdao on July 30, 2016. The first westbound sailing will also be operated by the same vessel, expected to arrive at Los Angeles/Long Beach on August 18.
All other service between Asia and the West Coast of North America will remain unchanged, according to the alliance.
