FEDEX EXPANDS SELF-COLLECTION NETWORK IN HONG KONG WITH HONGKONG POST
April 2, 2025

Federal Express Corporation (FedEx) has announced the expansion of its self-collection network for inbound shipments to more than 700 locations in Hong Kong.

FedEx, one of the world's largest express transportation companies, announced that, in collaboration with Hongkong Post, customers and e-shoppers can now pick up their packages at designated Post Office counters, iPostal Stations, and 7-Eleven convenience stores without additional charge.

The alliance offers FedEx customers greater flexibility with self-collection access points available at over 400 7-Eleven convenience stores, 165 iPostal Stations, and 119 Post Office counters.

Customers can select their preferred collection location through WhatsApp or the FedEx official website to utilize the self-pickup service.

Upon receiving the shipment delivery notification via email or WhatsApp, recipients can follow the instructions to choose their preferred pickup location either through FedEx® Delivery Manager online or through WhatsApp.

"In today's evolving environment, the dynamic growth of e-commerce and cross-border trade requires a customer-centric approach to enhance integration between e-tailers and logistics. FedEx has always been dedicated to launching innovative solutions in the logistics industry that address our customers' evolving needs," said Anthony Leung, managing director, FedEx Hong Kong and Macau.

"We're pleased to team up with Hongkong Post to expand our self-collection network, strengthening our last-mile delivery capability and providing a better customer experience," he added.

FedEx is introducing new tools to simplify the import process and help customers navigate global trade more efficiently.

The Collaborative Shipping Tool™ allows importers and shippers to collaborate more easily when preparing Airway Bills (AWB), improving the flow of goods. Additionally, the self-pickup service offers more options for customers to manage their shipments.
