The Wallem Group has appointed Charlie Bussayabuntoon as general manager of Wallem Shipping Myanmar.

According to Wallem, Bussayabuntoon will look after the interests of Wallem’s customers in the country and will be responsible for developing new business opportunities. He will be based in Yangon and will report to Denzyl Allwright, managing director of Indochina.

Wallem provides turnkey project forwarding and ship agency services in the country.

Bussayabuntoon joined Wallem in 2008 as the commercial manager for Thailand and Vietnam. He helped set up the Wallem Shipping Vietnam office and was promoted to GM from 2010 to 2014, according to Wallem.
