Doug Brittin will retire as secretary general of The International Air Cargo Association at the end of this year.
According to TIACA, Brittin, who has been secretary general since 2013, will remain at the association in an advisory capacity to ensure a smooth transition.
“TIACA is the only association representing the entire air cargo community and the role of secretary general is a vital one,” said Brittin. “I continue to be dedicated to attaining our goals on behalf of all segments of our industry, and am looking forward to a great ACF in Paris in October.”
A selection committee under the direction of Sebastiaan Scholte of Jan de Rijk Logistics has been set up to review and recruit candidates for Brittin’s replacement, according to TIACA.
