Liege Airport (LGG) and Chicago Rockford International Airport (RFD) have officially signed a sister airport relationship agreement.
The partnership, signed during the Air Cargo South East Asia event in Singapore, marks a new chapter in transatlantic air cargo collaboration, reinforcing both airports' commitment to innovation, growth, and operational excellence.
The agreement establishes a formal framework for close cooperation with the goal of increasing freighter traffic between both airports, launching joint marketing and sales initiatives to attract new cargo operators and logistics partners to both platforms, and collaborating on operational and digital projects to streamline processes and enhance service quality.
