Hanjin Shipping’s vessels are preparing to dock at ports in the US and unload their cargo, after a US bankruptcy judge approved an application by the South Korean shipping line for bankruptcy protection.

According to shipping big data company CargoSmart, Hanjin Gdynia and Hanjin Jungil are approaching the Port of Long Beach from Shanghai and Busan respectively, while Hanjin Boston, Hanjin Greece and Hanjin Montevideo are stationary near Long Beach.

More than half of Hanjin’s 88 container vessels missed their schedules between August 31 and September 1, after Hanjin filed for receivership in South Korea.

This included 46 vessels with an estimated arrival time between August 31 and September 1 that did not arrive at their scheduled port, as well as six vessels with an estimated departure time between August 31 and September 1 that did not depart, according to CargoSmart.
