Ocean Network Express (ONE) has announced an update to its East-West service network, covering the key trade lanes of Asia-North America, Asia-Europe, and Asia-Middle East which maintains the current routes via the Cape of Good Hope.

The shipping line said it is closely monitoring the situation around the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab Strait and the Suez Canal, and will keep keep its customers updated on the East West service should any changes occur.

Meanwhile, the enhanced network is scheduled to take effect from April 2026.

ONE said the "refined structure" strengthens overall service stability while maintaining our extensive global coverage. The service is also supported by additional capacity from newbuild vessels scheduled for delivery throughout 2025 and into 2026.

"The East-West service network is a key pillar of global trade, connecting emerging markets with demand centers and serving communities worldwide. We are pleased to release our updated 2026 Product Guide, which reflects our commitment to operational excellence," said Jeremy Nixon, CEO of ONE.

"This network is strategically designed to provide our customers with reliable, flexible connections that support global trade, while prioritizing safety and stability amid geopolitical uncertainties," he added.

"The port rotations of the updated 2026 services are based on the current routes via the Cape of Good Hope. ONE is closely monitoring the situation around the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab Strait and the Suez Canal, and will keep our customers updated on the East West Product should any changes occur."
