CMA CGM AIR CARGO EXTENDS ULD PARTNERSHIP WITH JETTAINER
February 23, 2026

CMA CGM AIR CARGO has renewed its long‑term partnership with Jettainer, extending the 2022 contract early as the carrier prepares for fleet expansion and rising ULD requirements.

The early extension reflects CMA CGM AIR CARGO's growing operational needs, with Jettainer set to scale its support as the carrier adds aircraft.

The company will continue handling ULD planning, maintenance and repair to ensure the airline has the right equipment positioned across its network as its fleet expands.

CMA CGM AIR CARGO's launch in 2021 marked the group's move into dedicated airfreight, adding an air arm to its wider transport and logistics network.

The carrier now operates eight freighters — five Boeing 777Fs, one A330F and two 747Fs — and plans to grow further from 2027 with the arrival of eight A350Fs. Its aircraft operate from hubs in France, the U.S. and Belgium, giving the group additional lift and connectivity across major cargo lanes.

"We would like to express our sincere thanks for CMA CGM AIR CARGO's trust in our services. We are committed to provide our customers with the best possible ULD services each and every day," said Dr.Jan-Wilhelm Breithaupt, CEO of Jettainer: “

"To this end, we are constantly innovating, such as in the area of digitalisation, with the aim of fully exploiting the possibilities that the ONE Record standard offers for ULD management," he added.

Jettainer is supplying CMA CGM AIR CARGO with a customised ULD fleet and managing the equipment as the airline’s needs grow. Its system uses automated steering and tracking tools to move units efficiently and provide the carrier with real‑time visibility across the network through its JettwareNG platform.
