CMA CGM LAUNCHES DIRECT TRANSATLANTIC - PANAMA SERVICE CALLING CORK, IRELAND

CMA CGM is set tp begin a direct Transatlantic service to Panama with a new port call in Cork, Ireland as part of the carrier's commitment to expand its network.

 

Direct connections to New York, Savannah

 

The French shipping line noted that beginning April 28, Cork will be directly linked to New York and Savannah.

 

The direct solution is designed to deliver a premium experience to the Irish market and our customers, offering improved reliability and frequency.

 

CMA CGM said the PANAMA DIRECT service is recognized for its reliability and consistent schedule, making it an ideal choice for meeting customer needs.

 

To further strengthen this service, an additional vessel will be deployed, helping us achieve our enhanced reliability and frequency objectives.

 

The first departure under this new service will be aboard MV CMA CGM WHITE (voy 0RPLUS1MA), with an estimated time of arrival in Cork on April 28.

 

Meanwhile, CMA CGM said the new service provides the fastest connection from Le Havre to New York and Savannah, as well as from Cork to the same U.S. East Coast ports.

 

The PANAMA DIRECT service also offers what the carrier describes as "unique coverage" of Dunkerque in northern France and Zeebrugge in Belgium.

 

Baltic and Scandinavian markets are linked via feeder services through the company's hub in Rotterdam.
