Qatar Airways has launched its non-stop daily flight to Helsinki.
The inaugural flight was operated by the airline’s newest Airbus A350-900 instead of the regularly scheduled A320.
“Launching our new route to Helsinki is a proud moment for the airline, completing our strategy of serving the needs of Europe’s Nordic capitals and facilitating connections for businesses, cultures and families between Finns and people throughout the world,” said Akbar Al Baker, chief executive of the Qatar Airways Group.
The carrier already operates a daily flight to Oslo and 10 weekly flights to Stockholm with Boeing 787-8s.
The schedule for the Helsinki flight is as follows.
