Swiss WorldCargo has now begun allowing the transportation of approved active tracking devices together with time- and temperature-sensitive shipments.

“This service is unique to Swiss WorldCargo customers as it offers the transparency of real-time information and an intervention team which can influence transportation quality in real time,” said Alain Guerin, head of product, services and technology management. “Fully in line with the GDP and Swiss WorldCargo philosophy, this worldwide initiative will support the overall continuous service improvements required by the forwarders, shippers and the supply chain.”

The intervention team is available 24/7 and can respond to any deviations worldwide.

The GD100, GL200, GL300, GL300W, Cartasense U-Sensor, Moog Crossbow ILC2000, Senseaware 2000, Sendum PT300D, OnAsset Sentry500 Flightsafe and OnAsset Sentry400 devices are approved, according to Swiss WorldCargo.
