Lufthansa has taken delivery of its first Airbus A350-900.

The aircraft will be based at Munich Airport and will be deployed on the Delhi route from February 10, 2017, replacing an A330-300. The airline has also said that it will fly the A350 to Boston, which is currently served by an A340-600.

Lufthansa has 24 more A350-900s on order and will station the first 10 at its Munich hub.
