Lufthansa has launched scheduled operations of its new Airbus A350-900.

The first aircraft, which was delivered in December 2016, has been deployed on the Munich-Delhi route, replacing an A330-300.

The first 10 of 25 A350-900s will be stationed at the Munich hub, with Boston becoming the second destination in March 2017, according to Lufthansa.
