ANA APPOINTS NEW PRESIDENT AND CEO

All Nippon Airways has appointed Yuji Hirako, currently executive vice president and member of the board, as president and CEO effective from April 1, 2017.
Hirako succeeds Osamu Shiobe, who will become vice chairman of ANA Holdings Inc.
According to ANA, Hirako joined the company in 1981. He has led major divisions such as passenger services at Haneda Airport, revenue management, finance and accounting as well as marketing and sales. He has also held a senior role in the network planning division. Hirako was named executive vice president and appointed to the board in 2015.
Shinobe has been president and CEO since April 2013, according to ANA.
