APL has launched Eagle Guaranteed, a day-definite delivery promise for shipments on the trans-Pacific Eagle Express service to the railyards of Chicago, Columbus, Dallas, El Paso, Kansas City and Memphis via Los Angeles.

“APL is excited to introduce Eagle Guaranteed as one of our value-added services,” said Jesper Stenbak, senior vice president of trans-Pacific trade. “It guarantees our customers day-definite arrival of their full container loads at various inland locations in the Americas, offering them superior speed-to-market. Importantly, Eagle Guaranteed is an assurance of vessel space and equipment for their cargo, a critical advantage especially during the peak trading season.”

The US-flagged EX1 service connects Naha, Qingdao, Shanghai and Busan with Los Angeles and Oakland. APL-dedicated trains are loaded on-dock at the Global Gateway South Terminal in Los Angeles.
