Gulf Air has completed the International Air Transport Association’s biennial IATA Operational Safety Audit and has renewed its certification until May 2019.

“Gulf Air prides itself on operating to the highest global safety standards and industry best practices – this is our main priority,” said Nasser Al Salmi, chief operating officer of Gulf Air. “Our latest IOSA renewal cements our ongoing commitment to safety and Gulf Air’s continuous development of IATA standards, regulatory requirements and practices within our operations. As we strive to remain at the forefront of safety developments this latest achievement reflects our success to date.”

The IOSA programme assesses an airline’s operational management and control systems. All IATA members must remain registered to maintain membership, according to IATA.
