Yusen Logistics Co., Ltd. has begun using the Route Master tool from shipping big data shipping software provider CargoSmart Limited to optimize its ocean route planning.

Yusen can now look at the best routing options when negotiating carrier contracts, make recommendations to its customers, and establish internal routing guides based on information about 29 ocean carriers’ services.

CargoSmart launched Route Master in March 2017, allowing users to search, visualize and compare shipping routes based on weighted parameters.
