Worldwide Flight Services has been awarded new ground-handling contracts at Los Angeles International Airport with China Southern Airlines, Xiamen Airlines and Philippine Airlines.

WFS now provides ramp services for China Southern’s daily Airbus A380 and thrice-weekly Boeing 777-300ER flights between Guangzhou and Los Angeles.

Xiamen Airlines operates a Boeing 787 flight between its Xiamen hub and Los Angeles four times a week.

The contract with Philippine Airlines will commence on September 1, 2017. The airline operates two daily flights from Manila to Los Angeles using 777-300ERs.

“Our success in winning these latest contracts in Los Angeles is once again due to our emphasis on safety and security, combined with our team’s strong work ethic and reputation for service excellence,” said Ray Jetha, senior vice president of sales and business development in North America at WFS. “We are delighted that China Southern, Xiamen Airlines and Philippine Airlines has chosen to partner with WFS and shown their confidence in our operation at LAX.”
