Lufthansa Cargo has developed a reflective film which protects shipments against sunlight while they are on the tarmac.

According to the carrier, it is now offering the product at no extra charge to all customers with passive refrigerated cargo.

“Our aim is to offer top-quality transport for our customers’ freight, both in the air and on the

Ground,” said Sören Stark, board member for operations at Lufthansa Cargo. “The free offer of our new special film underscores our dedication to high quality and perfects our refrigeration service.”

Lufthansa Cargo began the expansion of its Cool Center in Frankfurt in March 2017 and launched its Road Feeder Service Cool solution in May 2017.
