UPS EXPANDS ALCOHOL SHIPPING NETWORK

UPS has expanded its network for alcohol shipments and is now able to deliver 39 wine-importing markets and nine spirit-importing markets.

 

According to UPS, orders can now be delivered to the business or consumer within three days, depending on the destination.

 

In the Asia-Pacific region, UPS can now ship wine, beer and liquor to consumers and businesses in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand, as well as wine and beer to businesses in Malaysia.

 

Orders will be shipped using one of the UPS Express services, which consist of UPS Worldwide Express Plus for early-morning delivery, UPS Express for midday delivery and UPS Express Saver for end-of-day delivery. Automatic tracking and visibility will be available for all shipments.

 

The countries that produce and export the most wine include Italy, Spain, France, Chile, Australia, South Africa and the US, according to UPS.
