DoKaSch Temperature Solutions has begun offering its Opticooler climate-controlled air cargo containers in the US for more than 20 carriers.

According to the German provider, RAP and RKN Opticoolers are now available across free delivery areas covering cities such as Boston, Minneapolis, Washington D.C., St. Louis, Los Angeles, Sacramento, Las Vegas and Phoenix. Containers can be delivered from DoKaSch hubs to any location for a handling fee.

The Opticoolers are equipped with battery-powered cooling compressors and heaters, as well as a self-regulating temperature control.

DoKaSch also offers a free delivery area in Europe. Apart from the free delivery zones, Opticooler units can be hired around the world directly from a growing number of airlines, according to DoKaSch.
