According to the German provider, RAP and RKN Opticoolers are now available across free delivery areas covering cities such as Boston, Minneapolis, Washington D.C., St. Louis, Los Angeles, Sacramento, Las Vegas and Phoenix. Containers can be delivered from DoKaSch hubs to any location for a handling fee.

“We are very proud to offer pharmaceutical shippers in the USA an easy and hassle-free access to our Opticoolers for a global distribution of their high-value and high-risk cargo,” said Andreas Sitz, managing director of DoKaSch Temperature Solutions. “In combination with our high availability and 100 percent on-time-order-fulfillment, the “Made in Germany” Opticooler adds great value to the reliability of the global cool chain.”

The Opticoolers are equipped with battery-powered cooling compressors and heaters, as well as a self-regulating temperature control.

DoKaSch also offers a free delivery area in Europe. Apart from the free delivery zones, Opticooler units can be hired around the world directly from a growing number of airlines, according to DoKaSch.
