Oman Air has obtained the ISO 9001:2015 certification for its supply chain management.

The certification, which was awarded by Bureau Veritas, specifies requirements for a quality management system, including consistently providing products and services that meet customer and statutory or regulatory requirements, as well as enhancing customer satisfaction through the effective application and improvement of the system.

“Oman Air is proud to announce that supply chain management operation has gained ISO 9001:2015 certification, which is a clear demonstration of the high standard that has been achieved and maintained,” said Imad Al Lawati, vice president of supply chain management at Oman Air. “The effective management of our supply chain is vital to the overall effectiveness of the airline whilst it may not be visible to our customers, it has played a key role in Oman Air’s continuing success.”
