ZIM will add a call in Kaohsiung to its Seven Stars Express servicefrom November 2017.

According to the shipping line, the service will offer an end-of-the-week departure from Kaohsiung and connect it to the US East Coast.

The new Z7S rotation will be: Kaohsiung – Da Chan Bay – Yantian – Cai Mep – Port Kelang – Colombo – New York- Norfolk – Wilmington – Savannah – Port Kelang – Kaohsiung.

The first vessel to call at Kaohsiung on the new rotation will be Zim Ontario on Nov 3, 2017.

The Z7S service deploys 11 5,000 TEU vessels, all operated solely by ZIM.

The new call is part of ongoing efforts to improve and enhance the Asia-US East Coast portfolio and to cater for market needs, according to ZIM.
