Cargolux Airlines International has passed its sixth IATA Operational Safety Audit.
According to Cargolux, a team of five audited the company on about 900 different standards over five days, assessing its operational management and control systems.
“This fantastic result is the result of the efforts and endless commitment that the Cargolux staff has put into this Enhanced IOSA renewal audit, even during some very stressful moments,” said Graham Hurst, vice president of quality and compliance monitoring at Cargolux. “The quality and compliance monitoring staff, the Cargolux IOSA coordinators, the divisional IOSA representatives and all who were audited or contributed to the preparation before and during the audit. They all gave their all! Thank you for your persistence and dedication in making this fantastic result possible.”
As a member of the International Air Transport Association, Cargolux is required to pass an initial IOSA audit and subsequent renewal audits every two years, ensuring a constant enhancement of aviation safety. The carrier passed its initial audit in 2007.
IOSA was introduced by IATA in 2003 and enhanced in 2013.
