Menzies Aviation has appointed Jonathan Clark as CEO of its air freight and express wholesaler subsidiary Air Menzies International, starting from January 2018.

“I am truly excited about the prospect of leading AMI, an organization that I have watched grow over the years,” Clark said. “Most of all, I am looking forward to leading a team that is quality-driven, customer-focused and has given AMI its excellent name in the market. The AMI team and I will concentrate on ways in which we can innovate and grow the business to be ready for the ever-changing custorner demands in this competitive market place.”

Clark has more than 30 years of experience in the air freight sector, having held positions at MSAS Cargo lnternational, Lufthansa, Qatar Airways, DB Schenker and, most recently, Cargolux Airlines, where he has served as Africa director since 2016.

“We wanted a recognized expert in the cargo market to lead AMI into the next stage of its development; and, in Jon, I’m delighted to say that we got him,” said Forsyth Black, president and managing director of Menzies Aviation. “The road ahead of AMI is an exciting one; I’m sure Jon will relish the opportunity to take the business forward.”
