Air Canada has launched a non-stop flight between Vancouver and Melbourne, the only direct air link between Canada and Melbourne.

The new flight, which is operated with a Boeing 787-9, will be offered four times a week until February 4, 2018, and will be operated daily in June 2018.

Air Canada also operates a daily 777-200LR flight between Vancouver and Sydney, and a daily 787-8 flight between Vancouver and Brisbane.
