CMA CGM has resumed its CIMEX 9 service to expand its coverage of the Asia-Iran trade lane.

According to CMA CGM, CIMEX 9 is the group’s third direct service between Asia and Iran, adding to the CIMEX 6 and CIMEX 8 services. It offers transhipment connections to Chabahar in eastern Iran and access to CIS countries through Bandar Abbas.

The CIMEX 9 service has a port rotation of: Kaohsiung – Shanghai – Ningbo – Xiamen – Shenzhen (Da Chan Bay) – Bandar Abbas (T2) – Jebel Ali – Kaohsiung.

Transit times to Bandar Abbas will be 19 days from Shanghai and 17 days from Ningbo, according to CMA CGM.
