CARGOLOGICAIR ADDS ATLANTA, DUBAI AND HONG KONG FREQUENCIES
May 2, 2018

British cargo airline CargoLogicAir has added extra frequencies to its freighter services to Atlanta, Dubai and Hong Kong.

According to CLA, its third flight per week to Hartfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport returns directly to London Stansted and supplements the existing flights, which head onwards to Mexico City from Atlanta and were launched in August 2017. The additional capacity to the US will meet growing demand from customers shipping pharmaceuticals, aerospace products and automotive components.

The new twice-weekly direct services from Stansted to Dubai continue on to Hong Kong, where they then return to Stansted non-stop. Ex Hong Kong, the carrier will add much-needed maindeck capacity for customers doing business on the UK’s biggest import trade lane, which is being further boosted by significant growth in e-commerce volumes.

All flights will also offer quick connections to Frankfurt and Europe.

“We have a mandate to grow alongside strong demand from our customers in the UK and overseas for all-cargo services to major cargo markets in the US, the Middle East and Asia Pacific,” said David Kerr, CEO of CargoLogicAir. “Our expansion plans include further additions to our fleet and network to satisfy the clear demand we are seeing for maindeck freighter services from and to the UK.”

CargoLogicAir, which currently operates a fleet of two Boeing 747-400Fs and one 747-8F, was awarded its UK air operator certificate and commenced operations at the start of 2016 from its base at London Stansted Airport.
