Swiss WorldCargo has expanded its network of stations accredited under the Qualified Envirotainer Provider Training and Quality Program to 36 airports around the world.
According to Envirotainer, the programme comprises QEP Basic, Advanced and Expert levels, with the Swiss carrier having the highest number of Advanced stations at 31.
“Swiss WorldCargo demonstrates their commitment to providing best-in-class services to their customers and the pharmaceutical industry by promoting best practices and industry standards, such as the Qualified Envirotainer Provider Program,” said Bourji Mourad, head of global partner management at Envirotainer. “The commitment by teams on both sides is very encouraging and we expect such announcements to continue.”
Swiss WorldCargo’s Zurich hub was recently recognized as a QEP Expert station, based on its compliance with the European Union’s Good Distribution Practice guidelines and its Center of Excellence for Independent Validators in Pharmaceutical Logistics certification from the International Air Transport Association.

The QEP expert level of our Zurich hub is a clear evidence of our premium Swiss quality that extends through the whole Swiss WorldCargo network of 31 QEP Advanced stations.”
The QEP programme was launched by Envirotainer more than 10 years ago to promote the safe handling of pharmaceuticals and currently includes approximately 40 participating companies. It has educated individuals at more than 730 participating stations across the world.
