FEDEX SPEEDS UP INTERNATIONAL EXPRESS SHIPMENTS IN CHINA
July 20, 2015

FedEx Express has reduced transit times in seven Chinese cities for its international outbound express services by one to two business days. The improvement will apply to International Priority and International Priority Freight shipments from Chongqing, Dalian, Jinan, Weihai, Yantai, Zhengzhou and Zibo to Europe, the US and other countries.

“China is one of the world’s most important economies in the current global business climate, and I’m delighted that FedEx is able to help enhance the connectivity enjoyed by these cities,” said Karen Reddington, president of the Asia Pacific at FedEx Express. “Our numerous Chinese SME customers are expected to benefit in particular, and this service enhancement underscores FedEx determination to help small companies with big ideas and aspirations in their quest to go global.”

This enhancement shortens time-to-market for customers that sell to overseas markets, such as small and medium enterprises involved in the manufacture of arts and crafts, electronic chips and spare parts, according to FedEx Express.
