Volga-Dnepr Group has appointed Konstantin Vekshin as the new executive president of charter cargo operations at Volga-Dnepr Airlines.
According to Volga-Dnepr, Vekshin is based in London and will focus on achieving the airline’s strategic objectives, managing its international operating bases and regional sales offices, which include the UK, Russia, Germany, USA, the UAE, China and Ireland, and building up a multinational management team for the company’s charter operations.
Vekshin has more than 20 years of experience in the air cargo industry. He joined Volga-Dnepr in 1997 and developed his career from sales executive to vice president of charter business sales and marketing. Between 2013 and 2016, he worked as vice president of the charter and government division at Centurion Cargo Airlines and as vice president of air freight charters at Bertling Logistics. In October 2016, he was appointed as managing director of CargoLogicManagement, a Volga-Dnepr company based in the UK and specializing in providing management consulting services to international airlines.
