Jettainer and spare parts procurement specialist trilatec have entered into a sales partnership under which Jettainer will help to market trilatec’s squAIR-timber product.

The squAIR-timber product is made of recycled paper and is designed as a replacement for conventional wooden planks used for weight distribution on air freight pallets.

This enables us to continuously increase the efficiency on the customer side.”

The paper beams are made of a special cardboard fibre composite material and are up to 80% lighter than conventional wooden planks without sacrificing load-bearing capacity. One metre of the material with a net weight of only 1.2kg can carry up to five tonnes of cargo. In addition, squAIR-timber consists of 100% recycled material, is inexpensive and can be disposed of alongside regular paper waste.
