SOUTH KOREA ANNOUNCES APPROVAL FOR MORE FLIGHT FREQUENCIES TO/FROM CHINA

South Korea's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) has confirmed that it reached an agreement with the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAA) to permit airlines to increase flight frequencies between the two countries.
In a statement, Seoul's MOLIT said the agreement allows carriers to operate up to 10 round trip frequencies per week between South Korea and mainland China from July 2020.
MOLIT noted that South Korean airlines plan to resume the following services this month:
- Asiana Airlines: Seoul Incheon-Nanjing;
- Korean Air: Seoul Incheon-Guangzhou;
- Jin Air: Jeju-Xian;
- Air Busan: Seoul Incheon-Shenzhen.
