Cargolux Italia has launched a second weekly flight from Milan Malpensa Airport to Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport.

“With our second service from Milan, Cargolux Italia and the Cargolux Group can significantly boost its presence in both markets,” says Pierandrea Galli, CEO and accountable manager of Cargolux Italia. “It also underlines Cargolux Italia’s status as the main all-cargo carrier at Malpensa and main supporter of our Italian customers.”

The flight departs from Malpensa on Sunday mornings and is routed via Novosibirsk in both directions. The first Zhengzhou flight, which Cargolux Italia launched in June 2015, leaves Malpensa on Saturday mornings and is also routed via Novosibirsk.

According to Cargolux Italia, the two weekend flights offer shippers a convenient choice to transport their weekday production overseas. Shippers can also forward their cargo to other Chinese destinations with Cargolux’s trucking network at Zhengzhou.

Main commodities transported on the flight include Italian fashion goods, machinery and mechanical spare parts.

The flight will be operated with one of Cargolux Italia’s four Boeing 747-400 Freighters.
