Non-vessel operating common carrier CaroTrans has launched 11 direct LCL import services from China to the US, starting from the end of August 2015.

New services include Ningbo to Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Oakland and Seattle, and Xiamen to Chicago, Los Angeles and New York.

As part of its effort to strengthen its Chinese network, CaroTrans is also partnering with Portever Shipping Ltd., a Ningbo-based NVO.

“Consistent and frequent LCL services provide the supply chain options and flexibility shippers need today,” said Greg Howard, CEO of CaroTrans. “With this new cooperation with Portever, we’re broadening our China-US scope of import services to address the needs of our logistics service provider customers that are looking for alternative service solutions.”

CaroTrans offers more than 60 direct LCL import and export services between China and the US.
