Jettainer, which provides management of unit load devices, has appointed Thorsten Riekert as its new sales director.

“Thorsten Riekert is now not only complementing our team as a proven airline expert, but also as an experienced sales professional,” said Carsten Hernig, managing director of Jettainer. “His excellent knowledge of the sector will render great services for us, both as we look after and expand our business with existing customers and as we acquire new customers.”

Riekert was previously head of sales and key account management at Lufthansa Technical Training, and has worked in several other senior positions in sales within the Lufthansa Group, of which Jettainer is a wholly owned subsidiary.
