Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited has broken two of its own freighter-handling records.

In November 2015, Hactl handled a total of 2,242 freighter aircraft, 10 more than the previous record set in November 2014.

Hactl also handled 95 freighters on December 2, 2015, a record-breaking number for a single day of operations. The previous record was set on November 19, 2014 and stood at 92.

“Our steady growth has been driven by our airline customers seeking a single provider for terminal and ramp operations,” said Simon Fu, executive director of Hactl.

Since Hong Kong International Airport opened in 1998, Hactl’s ramp operations have gradually been growing and the company is now the largest handler of freighter aircraft in Hong Kong.
