QATAR AIRWAYS CARGO ADDS CAPACITY TO CARGOAI, CARGO.ONE

Qatar Airways Cargo is ramping up its digitalisation drive as it announced offering its capacity on CargoAi and cargo.one platform.
 
In a statement, the major air cargo carrier said CargoAi's over 6,500 forwarder users in 105 countries can now check real-time capacity offers on Qatar Airways Cargo flights.


"Qatar Airways Cargo’s global network of more than 150+ stations, will be available for booking on CargoAi as of 10 October, starting with 10 key European countries and finishing with a worldwide launch by 24 Octobe," Qatar Airways Cargo said.


It noted that users can book a cross-section of General products, shown with real-time rates and space, and receive immediate booking confirmation.


Qatar Airways Cargo said the integration between the two systems was completed rapidly, further demonstrating the need and appetite for modern airlines to increase their digital presence and online distribution.


"With the world's current number one cargo airline joining our online marketplace, CargoAi gains a significant increase in global market offer," said Matthieu Petot, CEO of CargoAi. 




"Qatar Airways Cargo has a strong digital focus and very clear ideas on how the future air cargo industry should look. This makes for a highly interesting partnership and on that will without doubt bring additional benefits," Petot added.

Meanwhile, Qatar Airways Cargo also unveiled a global partnership with cargo.one — one of the world's leading marketplace for digital air cargo bookings. 



The Qatar-based carrier noted that the launch reflects cargo.one's rapid expansion during 2022 and continuing adoption of global capacity.



"cargo.one's global customers can now book Qatar Airways Cargo's extensive capacities across many of the world's most important markets -  including North America, Europe, Japan, India and Brazil," the announcement said.
 
The carrier currently offers customers more than 60 dedicated freighter destinations and over 150 passenger destinations, comprising excellent intercontinental connectivity. Across its operation, Qatar Airways Cargo utilizes more than 250 aircraft (including 32 freighters), now bookable on cargo.one.
 
"Our launch of Qatar Airways Cargo capacities is a significant milestone in cargo.one always delivering the best possible level of choice to freight forwarders," said Moritz Claussen, founder and co-CEO of cargo.one.
 
"We are honored to be recognized as an important distribution channel within the airline's omni-channel strategy. Our aim is to deliver Qatar Airways Cargo the most customer-friendly way to distribute their capacity worldwide”, he added.
 
The announcement said the partnership with cargo.one complements Qatar Airways Cargo's far-reaching digital transformation program.
 
The launch reflects the airline's pursuit of excellence in digital booking, and the strategy to leverage the highest quality, most popular sales channels in the air cargo market.
