ZHONGYUAN LONGHAO AIRLINES STARTS ZHENGZHOU-NEW DELHI FLIGHTS

Zhongyuan Longhao Airlines (China Central Longhao Airlines), has commenced flights between Zhengzhou, China and New Delhi, India boosting freight connections between China and India.

 

The Chinese cargo airline will operate two flights per week between Zhengzhou, China and New Delhi using a B747-400 freighter, according to the announcement of Delhi International Airport.

 

"Delhi International Airport is delighted to welcome 'China Central Longhao Freighter' at DEL today," the airport said in a LinkedIn post on April 13.

 

"The airline will operate 2 flights per week between Zhengzhou, China and New Delhi with its B747-400 aircraft having a capacity of 100 MT," it added.

 

Zhongyuan Longhao Airlines website said the cargo airline currently operates six B737-300/400F freighters, with nearly 9,700 flights, more than 20,000 hours of flight, and nearly 100,000 tons of cargo transportation.

Aside from this Zhengzhou-New Delhi service, the carrier launched the Zhengzhou-Frankfurt intercontinental route with China Southern Airlines Group Co., Ltd. on October 16, 2020, and the Wuxi-Tianjin-Shenzhen-Wuxi route on October 25.

 

Zhongyuan Longhao seeks to "deepen cooperation with international large-scale e-commerce companies and world-class freight forwarders, and build a fleet of medium- and long-range wide-body cargo aircraft."

 

The cargo carrier is also looking to "accelerate the development of a global air cargo route network system to become a leading air cargo service provider in China, and promote the 'Air Silk Road.'"
