AIR CANADA CARGO RECEIVES NEW BUILD 767 FREIGHTERS
May 3, 2023

Air Canada Cargo has received two of its newbuild Boeing 767-300 freighters.

In its announcement, Air Canada Cargo said the freighters are expected to enter service "soon."

"Welcome home! We are thrilled to see our two factory-built Boeing 767 freighters land in #Toronto for the first time today, joining our growing freighter fleet," the carrier announced on LinkedIn.

"Fins 662 and 663 will soon enter commercial service and serve our valued customers around the world," it added.

With the addition of the 767-300Fs, Air Canada Cargo can now provide five distinct main deck configurations, bringing the total cargo capacity of each aircraft to around 58 tonnes or 438 cubic meters, with the main deck accommodating almost 75% of this capacity.

Air Canada placed the order for two factory-built 767-300Fs in April 2022.

This is in addition to the eight Boeing 767-300s that are currently being converted for use by Air Canada Cargo.
