Cathay Pacific’s first Airbus A350-900 has completed its first test flight in Toulouse.

According to Airbus, the plane will undergo cabin completion, further ground tests and test flights before being prepared for delivery.

The airline was originally scheduled to be take delivery of the new type in February, but pushed it back to April because of issues related to the passenger cabin. It now expects to take delivery in May, and plans to put the A350 into commercial service on flights from Hong Kong to Manila and Taipei starting from June 1, 2016.

Cathay has 22 A350-900s and 26 A350-1000s on firm order.
