March 12, 2024

Cathay Cargo Terminal and Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) announced they had successfully achieved IATA Environmental Assessment (IEnvA) certification, becoming the first cargo handling companies to achieve IEnvA in Asia.

IEnvA is a comprehensive certification programme developed by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). It independently assesses the commitment of aviation stakeholders including airlines, airports, cargo-handling facilities, freight forwarders and ramp handlers, to continuously improve their environmental and sustainability performance.

IEnvA ensures that organisations minimise negative impacts on the environment while maintaining operational excellence.
