SF AIRLINES LAUNCHES NEW CARGO ROUTE TO SINGAPORE
July 30, 2024

SF Airlines has launched an international connecting air cargo route linking south China's Shenzhen and Sanya cities with Singapore.

State media said China's largest air cargo carrier in fleet size marked the maiden flight with a B767-300 freighter taking off from the Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport on July 28, embarking on the Shenzhen-Singapore-Sanya-Shenzhen route.

This route has one round-trip flight scheduled every week, providing about 100 tonnes of air cargo transport capacity.

"This cargo route connects China's Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Hainan Free Trade Port with Singapore," Xinhua said in its report.

It added that exported goods collected across the country will be sent to Singapore via this route. Then, the imported goods will be carried to Sanya, a popular coastal tourist destination in south China's coastal Hainan Province.

The cargo airline is dedicated to ensuring the smooth operation of this new route, which will enhance the logistics network and industrial chain within the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and provide energy to the Belt and Road connectivity.
