ZIM has signed a cooperation agreement with Avvashya-CCI, a subsidiary of India-based Allcargo Logistics Limited, to provide customers with logistics services in India.

According to ZIM, the agreement covers land transportation, customs clearance, warehousing, depots and special cargo services.

“We are upgrading and expanding ZIM’s network to better serve the Indian market,” said Indrajit Dasgupta, president of ZIM India. “This new cooperation enables us to offer a wide range of complementary solutions to our customers, bringing our services to new levels of efficiency and excellence. We believe that with the expertise and experience of Avvashya-CCI, and their comprehensive network across India, we can synergize our abilities for the benefit of the customers.”

Customers will be able to take advantage of door-to-door services, container freight stations and depot facilities, solutions for heavyweight equipment, warehouses, distribution facilities and one-stop logistics solutions, according to ZIM.
