E-commerce supply chain specialist Tigers has launched an online marketplace to support foreign brands wishing to enter the Chinese and Southeast Asian markets.
The marketplace, called eShop, is part of Tigers’ suite of products designed for e-commerce.
“Tigers eShop offers a cost-effective, scalable enterprise solution for companies of all sizes,” said Andrew Jillings, chief executive officer and group managing director of Tigers. “We can provide fiscal representation to SMEs wanting to enter the China market that do not have a presence there. The logistics industry has the desire to adopt technology, but few providers are offering a real solution that ultimately services every e-commerce business. Rather than being a one-size fits all, Tigers’ IT systems, which work on a cloud-based operating platform, are flexible enough to meet a large variety of demands.”
The first eShop customers include martial arts apparel designer Gr1ps and golf simulator OptiShot Golf.
Tigers, which is headquartered in Hong Kong, said that it plans to open more eShops across a number of locations.
“Tigers will continue to focus on our two main assets, our technology and our people,” Jillings said. “We are privileged to be working with exciting brands like Gr1ps and OptiShot Golf. They are both dynamic groups with great products and they embrace the online retail space.”
