Aerologic, the joint venture between Lufthansa Cargo and DHL Express, has appointed Josef Moser [left] as its chief operations officer and accountable manager, as well as Wolfgang Raebiger [right] as its chief financial officer, both effective from May 1, 2017.

Ulf Weber, managing director, will leave the company on April 30 at his own request.

Markus Niedermeyer, authorized officer, will remain as head of administration for several months to ensure a smooth transition before taking up a new management position at Lufthansa Cargo.

Moser was previously head of flight operations and crew training at Aerologic and Raebiger was previously captain and head of fleet at Lufthansa Cargo.

Aerologic is jointly owned by Lufthansa Cargo and DHL Express, which each hold a 50% share, and operates a fleet of eight Boeing 777Fs.
